DESCRIPTION:Would you know what to do in an emergency?\nSaturday 15th June 2024 13.00 – 17.00 at Preston Village Hall\n\nThis is a very useful course for anyone over the age of 10 years who lives in a rural community.\nYou will learn how to examine a casualty\, use a defibrillator\, familiarise yourself with basic life support and learn how to handle\na range of medical emergencies from common injuries\, such as cuts\, scrapes and burns to major injuries such as trauma and cardiac arrest.\nThese skills will help you to overcome a potential threatening situation long enough for medically trained individuals to arrive on the scene. \nNo experience is necessary.Ideal for adults and children from 10 years + \nYou MUST book in advance HERE \nThere is no charge for ABPCC residents this course is kindly being funded by PACT/Aikengall Wind Farm
