DESCRIPTION:Our Grand Opening is Saturday 19th July 2025 \nThe Community Cafe returns from 10.30 to 12 noon with home baked scones and cakes and our popular book swap. The cafe has been greatly missed so we hope you can make it along for a cuppa and a blether.  Everyone is welcome – just turn up – entry is by donation \nChildren & Family Fun from 3.30 to 5.30 pm with a popular local Magician performing some walk-around close- up magic for everyone to enjoy.  There will be a selection of sandwiches\, savoury food & cake with tea/coffee/soft drinks \nCommunity Saturday Night Social & Supper from 6.30 to 10.30pm  Why not join us to celebrate? There will be a selection of hot savoury food\, salads\, cheese platters & desserts. SUMMARY:Preston Stitchers - Syringe Driver Bag Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Come and make a bag or 2 or 3 & help up meet our target of 50 bags\nthese will be donated to the Edinburgh cancer centre at the Western General Hospital.\nThese bags are easy to make and we have kits of fabric cut & ready to sew. Bring your own machine\, but we also have a couple of spare machines available. \nSyringe Drivers are small portable battery powered machines used to give a continuous dose of medications by a small needle. A tube\nconnects the needle to the syringe driver which is placed in a bag allowing the patient to move around easily.\nOne bag is needed for each patient which is why our target is 50 bags. \nDrop in anytime between 10am to 3pm\nTea / coffee & and tray bakes are provided. Bring your own lunch.
