
This is a very useful course for anyone over the age of 10 years who lives in a rural community.
You will learn how to examine a casualty, use a defibrillator, familiarise yourself with basic life support and learn how to handle
a range of medical emergencies from common injuries, such as cuts, scrapes and burns to major injuries such as trauma and cardiac arrest.
These skills will help you to overcome a potential threatening situation long enough for medically trained individuals to arrive on the scene.
