Community Councillors

Who are ABPCC?

The current full members of our Community Council are:

  • Keith Dickson (Chair)
  • Victoria Dobie (Vice-Chair)
  • Pip Chandler (Treasurer)
  • Charlotte Dobie
  • James Dobie
  • Hamish Goldie-Scot

At present there are six Community Councillors. This means there are six vacant seats.

Any resident can be ‘co-opted’ on to Abbey St Bathans, Bonkyl and Preston Community Council (ABPCC) whenever there is a vacancy. After attending three meetings, or after six months, whichever is shorter, the co-opted member can become a full voting member of the Community Council. A maximum of three co-opted members can be appointed to ABPCC at any one time.

ABPCC would welcome any younger residents on to the council. An individual under 16 years old would remain a non-voting co-opted member whilst under this age.
