Preston Stitchers – Syringe Driver Bag Workshop

Come and make a bag or 2 or 3 & help up meet our target of 50 bags
these will be donated to the Edinburgh cancer centre at the Western General Hospital.

These bags are easy to make and we have kits of fabric cut & ready to sew. Bring your own machine, but we also have a couple of spare machines available.

Syringe Drivers are small portable battery powered machines used to give a continuous dose of medications by a small needle. A tube
connects the needle to the syringe driver which is placed in a bag allowing the patient to move around easily.
One bag is needed for each patient which is why our target is 50 bags.

Drop in anytime between 10am to 3pm
Tea / coffee & and tray bakes are provided. Bring your own lunch.
