Speed Limit in Preston

Two police officers were in Preston near the village hall today (Thursday 11th April) checking drivers using speed guns. Although it is suspected many of those speeding do live outside the area residents are reminded that the limit along this road is 20mph. There are future plans for residents to be trained in the use of speed guns and although residents won’t have the power to issue speeding fines, drivers may be reported to the police who will then issue warnings.
