Swimming grant awarded by ABPCC

Keira travelled to Aberdeen on the 10th April 2024 for 5 days of competition with 11swims at the Scottish National Age Group Swimming Championships. This event attracts talented age group swimmers from across Scotland, England and even a team from Dubia for Scotland’s premier Age Group competition. Keira continued her successful 2023/24 season with her first final in this competition where she finished as the 4th 17 year old female in the 200 butterfly. Keira had many top twenty finishes in the 17 and over category however it is the butterfly that she continues to excell. Keira’s performances have qualified her for seven swims at July’s Scottish Summer Meet back in Aberdeen where the top 20 swimmers in each age category are invited to take part in the season ending event. Keira’s goal is to continue to aim qualifying for finals at National events, especially in butterfly, to then give herself a chance to race for silverware and to qualify for further National and International meets.
